The Alfred Family Foundation (TAFF) joint venture with Naanovo Energy
Work, energy, potable water, and waste resolution are issues of critical importance to all human population centers, and indeed for each and every individual. Working together, Naanovo Energy and The Alfred Family Foundation embark upon a strategic green energy initiative of modular constructed power plants for the Caribbean, and eventually the world. Since 2001 Naanovo Energy has been developing state of the art, ecologically friendly alternative energy sources, with a special focus on “Waste to Energy” (WTE) and Concentrated Solar Power (CSP).
It is our purpose to develop and supply clean energy projects to regions of the world where the demand for energy far exceeds supply and where alternative energy, or clean energy, is the preferred solution for producing electricity. “Waste to Energy” is an exciting project providing economic growth and stability through plant construction jobs and positions for ongoing operations.
This exciting and proven technology of waste resolution produces: jobs, maximum energy output, potable water, and inert-benign ash. This ash in turn is recycled to produce Cinderblock for various construction projects. Overall project expectations include Waste Volume Reduction of 90-95% and Waste Weight Reduction of 80-90% via the 100% Combustion of Combustibles with nearly 0% Air Emissions and Water Contamination of 0%.
Advanced design and top-quality construction materials provide Waste to Energy power plants with a useful operating life of 40 to 45 years. The facilities themselves are guaranteed for five years and we will provide on-going operating and maintenance support. Our model of success demonstrates Employment of 16 – 18 persons per module, at a Cost Recovery Period of 5 to 7 years.
With a Waste Disposal (input) capacity of 64,000 metric tons per year the following annual outputs occur: Power Production: 59,640,000 kWh, Cinderblock Production of 5,680,000 and Potable Water Production of 323,760 m3.
“Waste to Energy” Waste Resolution = Jobs + Electricity + Drinkable Water + Construction Cinderblocks
